@fiore@emiliamicrosystems@techokami i know this seems kinda unrelated but my literal tie choice for an upgrade laptop last year was a framework laptop or a macbook air.
this was 2 weeks before framework had a huge boycott/blowup over supporting neonazis.
there isn't really all that much a good option that fits me that is ethical that has software i need. i also don't like Linux as much because of AI, Linus Torvalds and the quite toxic community to name a few.

i get there are some legit uses for crypto (for example, one i know of being HRT in countries where it is harder or illegal to acquire) but it has mostly been co-opted by the right wing and billionaires who wish to fuck us over. take Nigel Farage of Reform UK receiving millions in funding from a crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne.
